The Black Hawk Cares Foundation is dedicated to transforming lives by providing affordable, sustainable housing solutions and empowering communities in need. We focus on bridging the gap between housing insecurity and stability by delivering both permanent housing and rapid response shelters for disaster relief. Our mission is to ensure that every individual has access to a safe and dignified place to call home, whether for long-term living or during times of crisis.
Executive Summary
The Black Hawk Cares Foundation, an extension of Black Hawk’s commitment to social responsibility, addresses housing challenges for vulnerable populations, including low-income families, veterans, immigrants, those affected by natural disasters, and the homeless. Our dual approach focuses on delivering permanent, affordable housing as well as short-term, rapid-response solutions for emergency situations, such as disaster relief.
Leveraging our expertise in construction and affordable housing, we work closely with government agencies, non-profits, local communities and our manufacturing partner Housing Made Simple to provide scalable solutions that meet both immediate shelter needs and long-term housing stability. Our programs aim to create sustainable change by offering not only physical shelters but also the resources and support necessary for individuals to achieve economic stability and resilience.
